Southern California weather: Showers, thunderstorms on tap Sunday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Showers and thunderstorms will move through most of Southern California Sunday.

Los Angeles and Orange counties have a 10% chance of thunderstorms beginning in the morning, with a high of 85 degrees by the afternoon. A chance of thunderstorms will continue into Monday.

The valleys and Inland Empire will also have a chance of thunderstorms, staying hot with a high of 96 degrees.

Beaches may also see thunderstorms, with temperatures in the upper 70s on Sunday.

Mountain areas have the biggest chance of thunderstorms, along with gusty winds and a high of 82 degrees.

The deserts will stay hot, topping 100 degrees with a 40% chance of thunderstorms.
